João Ricardo Catarino
João Ricardo Catarino, João Ricardo Catarino holds a PhD in Public Administration (2008) and an Aggregation (Habilitation) in Finance and Taxation (2010), both awarded by the former Technical University of Lisbon. He also completed a Master’s degree in Political Science at the same university in 1999 and graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 1985.
He is currently Full Professor at Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas, University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa), where he teaches and coordinates courses in Public Finance, Financial Management, Tax Policy, and Taxation. He is also a researcher at Centro de Administração e Políticas Públicas (CAPP) and has held several academic leadership positions, including the coordination of the Department of Public Administration at ISCSP-ULisboa.
